Detailed Job Description:
System Administrator
Our client in the Schaumburg area is currently seeking a
System Administrator to add to a growing team. The
ideal candidate for this position will have 4+ years of
experience in the field. Responsibilities include
installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows
Server 2000/2003, MS Exchange, and Active Directory.
This candidate will work closely with the Help Desk on
escalated tickets and will need to provide knowledge
transfer and guidance to the Help Desk professionals.
This candidate will work in a team environment along
with the Help Desk
Qualifications:
4+ years as a System Administrator and should have prior
Help Desk experience.
Must have prior experience with system migrations and
implementations.
Experience with Active Directory, MS Exchange, Windows
2000/2003, and with a ticketing system such as Remedy or
Track It.
Should be available and be willing to work off hours and
provide remote support.
Experience with Windows 2008 is a great plus.
Education and Certifications:
Should have a degree in a related field
MCSE is greatly desired.
