Detailed Job Description:
Our client in the Schaumburg area is currently seeking a
Network Engineer for a full time opportunity to add to
their growing team. The ideal candidate for this
position will have 5+ years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities include implementations, configuration,
maintenance, and support. The Engineer will work in a
team environment and will manage implementation
projects, manage and maintain migration of servers,
firewalls, manage vendor relationships and make
recommendations for improved security and network
solutions. Will be responsible to work with the Help
Desk and work on escalated tickets.
Qualifications:
5+ years in Network Engineering
Should have a strong background with migrations and
implementations
Experience with Cisco routers and switches
Firewall experience such as ASA, PIX, Sonic or
Checkpoint
Working with Active Directory and creating group
policies.
Should have experience with ticketing system such as
Remedy or Track It.
Education and Certifications:
Must have a degree in related field
CCNA required, CCNP a plus.
