Detailed Job Description:
E-commerce Merchandising Manager
Our client has an immediate need for an e-commerce
merchandising manager on a contract (possible
temp-to-hire) basis. This is a very reputable company in
the retail industry with a great e-commerce team in
place! The primary responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure effective e-commerce strategy to maximize
sales and margins
- Guarantee that all product information is conveyed
clearly on company website including
promotional offers and timelines
- Work directly with both the marketing and
merchandising teams to make sure
site merchandising aligns with email and hardcopy
marketing
- Report trends and site metrics to the management
team
- Other duties as assigned by team manager
Job Requirements
- BA/BS in relevant field
- 2+ years of e-commerce in retail or a related field
- Familiarity with site operations & content management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
- Comfortable with HTML
Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience!
